Join us December 5 for the Xfinity Birds of Prey Audi FIS Ski World Cup in Beaver Creek

Thank you for being part of our Ski For A Tree Campaign

As skiers and snowboarders, we all have the desire to keep the mountains and surrounding environment healthy to ensure that we can all enjoy the sport we love! Unfortunately, the country’s trees are in jeopardy from disease and pests that have no predators, and from climate change. Our trees need our help! That’s our mission, and we believe we can keep our trees healthy for generations to come, if we all do our part!

Arborjet sponsors this year's Birds of Prey event.

Arborjet and Ski For A Tree are a key sponsor of the 2019 Beaver Creek Xfinity Birds of Prey Audi FIS Ski Event. This world class weekend  is ranked as the number one stop by the athletes and coaches who participate, and we are excited to spread the word about Saving our Trees!

The festivities of BC World Cup weekend celebrate “Where Winter Begins” in North America. This year’s event is scheduled to include live music, beer tastings, ski films, parties, sponsor activation and much more in the heart of Beaver Creek Village on what is dubbed “Birds of Prey Way”.

From the glades at Vail and Beaver Creek and beyond, our mountain trees need protection

Ski for a Tree is Arborjet’s latest initiative to help preserve the country’s most treasured trees. Working with area partners, our goal is to raise awareness and to broaden education about the mountain region and its trees, continuing to be strong stewards of the environment. Trees can help reduce the impact of climate change by reducing CO2 in the atmosphere and by absorbing stormwater runoff, while providing many other important environmental and economic benefits.

We believe that every tree has a story and we are making sure they are preserved

Ski for a Tree aligns directly with the highly successful Saving America’s Iconic Trees tour that has treated some of the most well known, oldest, and largest trees across North America. Their existence is embedded in America’s history and brings significant value to the communities they grow in and to the environment. Many of the country’s native trees are under attack from invasive pests brought here through human travel and importation, from which they lack natural defenses. Climate change is putting many native trees under more stress, making them more at risk. Additionally, native pest populations are expanding, moving, and posing more of a serious threat to trees nationwide.
